Few days after I was back in Italy we decided to go to Malcesine. You may know from some other posts, Malcesine is one of my very favourite places around Verona.

I finally got my green hair! I love them so much, even if it fade too fast… But I already bought a turquoise hair colour to re-dye them! I have the feeling this is the beginning of something really funny for my hair! (maybe not so healty for them too…)

Love these sandals! I bought them during last summer sales to wear with socks but I really like them with everithing! I was thinking about covering the beige heel with gold glitters, but I’m too scared of ruining them… I have to find a nice tutorial and try!

I was so worried about falling in the lake! Here the water is always freezing even in august and those wedges surely weren’t the right choice to walk on the pier!

In the afternoon a strange fog started to hide the sun. So weird! Usually fog comes in winter… I think it was too hot that day and everything wet started to evaporate creating this surreal atmosphere…

This afternoon we’re going to a spring party in a beautifull villa, I hope we’re going to take some nice pics to show you!

One of them is surely “Vinitaly“. Every year this important wine exposition hosts the best wines from all over Italy and a selection of the best wines from abroad (like australia, south america, south africa and more…)

We’ve always been lucky enough to find tickets to partecipate so we (me, my best friend Meggy, her boyfriend and Andrea) spent an entire afternoon tasting, chatting and having fun there

We had to bring in some sandwitches to survive to the incredible ammount of exquisite wines!

These cubes were so comfy we really couldn’t stand up, or maybe we were just too tired…

My matching colours obsession isn’t over, now it involves also furnitures!

The print on the shirt was one of my high school project. I’m so proud of it and I’m really missing our silk screen printing laboratory!

I fell in love with these shoes the very moment I tried them on in the store… They seems to be the shoes of my child’s dreams (I used to draw this kind of shoes on all my drawing since I was 4)! I couldn’t resist taking a pic to the matching floor!

Well, I hope you guys are having fun, I’m becoming nervous about my departure to Hamburg, it’s both too close and too far (I have the feeling I already said this talking about something else…). Anyway I can’t wait to be there!!!

I’m finally back in Italy and I’m not thinking to leave in at least 2 weeks. My holiday with my dad whent so good, the place was amazing and relaxing and now I’m completely ready to start my new life as a “non-student”!

I took those pics with Andrea few days before leaving. It was a really nice sunday afternoon, the sun was shining and temperature was rising so we went to have a walk in the vineyards of Valpolicella (where it’s produced one of the best wine of Veneto!)

I told you I went to dye my hair green, but my hairdresser made some mistakes and it tourned out with a purple/blue/lillac colour… Luckly it’s not so visible, it’s behind my left ear and the colour is so dark it’s almost black… Let’s see if next time I’ll get the colour I want!

I love this skirt so much, the fabric is soft but heavy so it moves very good. It belonged to my mother, I can remeber when I was a little child and she used to dress more ethnic. Sad to say she was a lot thinner than me so it’s not so comfortable…

Now I’m planning what to do in the future. I contacted a language school in Hamburg, I think I’ll leave the first days of May. I’m going to attend a 4 weeks course to learn a better german and find a job and a flat (or room in a shared flat, I’m missing the “housemate situation”)… As always I’m not sure about anything! I keep feeling like those peaple who speek more that act, I hope I’m not one of them…

Now we’re back in Italy, my webmaster/boyfriend finally solved the server problem that was inflicting my site, blog and e-mail address… I had the unpleasant surprise while I was still in Tenerife and we couldn’t do anything from there!

Anyway the island was pretty nice (I thought it was better, but I’m used to those uber cute greek island…), the weather not so good, few hours of sunbathing and plenty of rain and wind. It has been a nice adventure in any case, we’re also editing a little video about that

We rent a car, ’cause the island is quite big and we wanted to explore every bay and mountain. I have to drive all the time, but we found so many nice glimpses and gourgeous places (like this beach here) I can’t complain!

This cute ruchsack is a gift from Andrea. He bought it on Asos. I have to say it’s really comfortable, useful and stylish, even if it makes me feel like a child…

I made this shirt few days before leaving. It was my first attempt to making a shirt, I always think is the most difficoult thing to sew, but I’m really happy with the resoult! I really made no mistakes!

I’m really not a ring person, I think this one is one of the only I really searched for. I saw it the first time in England last summer and I thought to buy it once back in Italy with the summer sales. But I couldn’t find it anywhere! …writing this I realized I already talked about it in an old post, sorry for my ripetitive content…

For me it’s difficoult to match so different colours, usually I go for all cold colours or neutral with warm colours (and it’s very rare, I don’t like warm tints so much). But this coral shade really enchanted me! From these pics you can’t see that the ring, the nail polish and the lipstick are all perfectly matched, love it! The nail polish is one of the cheap one i bought in England last summer and the lipstick (Vegas Volt from MAC) is a gift to me from me for my graduation

Talking about gift for my graduation my dear dad decided to spend a week with me in a warm and sunny country, so next week we’re flying to Honduras!!! I’m so happy!

As some of you may already knows, on thursday I GRADUATED!!! I’m so happy I’d like to tell it everyone!

It has been so hard I really wasn’t sure I could do it ’till I got off the auditorium! I’m not talking about the hours of study, lessons and all that stuff, I’m talking about offices, bureaucracy, documents, teachers and stupid rules… But now I’m off and I don’t want to think about it any more!

The weather in Florence was terrifying! There was a freezing wind blowing all day long, it was hard to walk in open spaces…

I was the last one to discuss my thesis that day and I had the bad idea to sit and listen to the other students before me… It made me feel very anxious!

My thesis was about the clothes ideated by the Futuristic movement during the first 30 years of the XX century, so I chose an outfit that followed their principles of asymmetry, dynamism, simultaneity of colours, comfort.

I bought this super futuristic dress at Shampalove shop, the girls were so kind to let me try it in their show room in Rome! Originally it has just one sleeve, but I needed more colour and the temperature was too low, so I added the yellow blouse. I made those cycle leggings out of some jersey scraps, inspired by Sonia Delaunay patchworks.

It’s a shame you can’t see the back of my boots, they has a nice silver Art Nouveau inspired decoration.

This is the gift my friends gave me. It’s such a beautifull object, with my favourite colours (gold and white) (I also love green so much, but it’s not sophisticated as gold and white together…) and it makes me feel like a grown woman! I need to try it to the theatre ASAP!!!

So next week I’m leaving to Tenerife to have just a little break before starting the “real life”! With a real life I mean “I need to find a job, move from boring Italy and find my way”… Is it too much for next months? Who knows… Well, you  can help me finding a job for now! (Joking… …or mybe not…)

What happened?!?

Few days before I left for Hamburg I took my last exam, so the only thing missing for my graduation was my thesis! I was too lazy to begin it suddently after Cristmass and as a result February began and I was way too late! I started searching for books and writing and looking for images and contacting teachers… Such a good lesson: Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today.

Last week finally I finished everything and I had time to relax a bit.

Over the weekend I’ve been in Rome for a millinery workshop (lots of new projects in my mind now!!!) and I met Shampalove girls to try my graduation dress. I’ll show you the complete futuristic inspired graduation outfit after the 2nd of March, I don’t want to wear it before “The Day”…

Today I went to the hairdresser. I have to say that having short hair allows you to be really braver! My hair grows so fast I can try every hair cut I desire!

When I left home this morning I was very determinated I wanted dark mint hair ends. I took with me some pastels to be sure I had the right green but my coiffeur said they didn’t have that kind of colour… He’s asking for it, but it’s going to take some time…

The watch it’s a gift from the BF when we were in Hamburg, it was such a surprise, usually he’s not the kind of guy who buy me everything I want!

The weather lately was not so kind, the sun was shining, but there was a freezing wind blowing! Luckly we already booked for a week in Tenerife in march, we’re going to see the carnival, really can’t wait!

Ok, I hope this post is not going to be alone as the last one, I’m going to have lots of free time in the month coming and I have tons of DIY projects and ideas in my mind!

Everything was amazing, I was really moved by the wonderful voice of Rafiki, costumes and scene were brilliant!

We had to take a boat to get to the theatre and cross the river, it was frozen!!!

We spent our nights in this cute and hospitable youth hostel named Instant Sleep. It was so colourfull, clean and comfortable!

Our room was the pink one and this above was the girl’s bathroom.

This place is where me and Andrea used to go for breakfast: Herr Max. It’s a nice cake shop where you can sit and chat eating healthy cakes and drinking bio latte macchiato. I surely recomend it!

We discovered this last place the first time we came to Hamburg. The name is Croque & Crepes, here you can eat some of the most tasty sandwiches I’ve ever found!

Back to the normality I wanted to show you some more pics I took in Hamburg

On thuesday my mother and her partner joined us in that wonderful city! I found a really nice place for them to sleep, My Place. The rooms where nice and painted with some light drawings and they offered free home made cookies on the window ledge on the stairs!

We went to visit the town hall Christmas Market. Above me and Andrea kissing under the mistletoe, hoping it’s going to bring some good luck

…than it started snowing again! I felt so silly to be happy again for it, it seems I didn’t have enought snow in my life

It was so hard to walk all day long in the snow and with that cold!

We decided to spend one day in Lübeck ’cause we heard there were some nice Christmas markets

This is the last place we visited togheter, they came back in Italy one day before us. I can ensure the pictures is upright, is the building the wrong one! We walkend so much to find this place, it’s a restaurant where you can eat the traditional dishes of Hamburg  really worth the long walk The name is Oberhafen Kantine

This afternoon I spent some free time drawing this little thing to wish you the best holidays!

Wherever you are and whoever is with you I hope you’re happy and peaceful!

When we arrived, on Monday the 13th, we just had the time to reach our youth hostel and it started snowing!

In few minuter averything wa white and fluffy!!! I was so happy!

I murdered my new shoes with hours of walking in the snow, luckly they’re were strong enought to survive

We first acted like proper tourists, visiting the most important places and monuments. Above the Saint Michael’s church (where at first we could’t enter) and here the path to the port.

I really love their pubblic transport, they’re really efficent and beautiful, there are more overground than undergound lines so you can watch the view while going somewhere

Outside it was really freezing so we found every way to stay inside, we even took a turistic boat trip into the docks

…and we visited the Miniatur Wunderland!

We’ve already been in Hamburg in 2008, but it was summer, so we came back to the plcaes we loved to see them under the snow. Above the Planten und Blomen park.

Into the park there is a big glass structure that host tropical plants Our cameras were too cold and the humidity inside were so high that wet the lenses!

There I get addicted to Latte Macchiato! I used to drink it everytime I could!
