I’m a young Costume Designer.
Currently I’m attending the 3rd year of university in Florence, where I’m studying Costume for Performance. I hope I’ll graduate in December 2010. After I’ll move abroad, I think I could have really more career opportunities in countries like UK, Germany or Sweden.
I love travelling abroad, especially with trains, it makes me fell like an old time girl. Travelling I learned that knowing languages is really important, so I tryed to learn english, german and french with a pretty good success.
I love watching film, above all musicals, like Across the Universe, Mamma Mia!, Hair, Jesus Christ Superstar, Chicago… Other films I love are The Legend of 1900, Donnie Darko, 12 Monkeys, Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events, Big Fish, The Secret Garden and lots of fantasy films.
In my free time I like making my own clothes. I started sewing when I was only 12, and I never stopped! I have a difficoult taste on wearing apparel so I decided to make everything I can’t find in shops. My objective of 2010 is to make every item of clothing I’ll need, except elaborate knitwear and leather accessories.
I would like to work as Costume Designer or Stylist in musicals, videoclips, dance performance and everything concerning music.
